Tasting Notes:
Bodegas La Aldea Monastrell was fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel. Aromas of underbrush, brier, and blueberry inform the nose of this concentrated, savory, spicy red that is an excellent value for drinking over the next 3-4 years.

Viticulture Technics:
Double selection of grapes in the vineyard and again in the winery.
Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 25 C.
Alc. 14% by Vol.

Bodegas La Aldeas 2010 Monastrell was fermented with native yeasts and aged in stainless steel. Aromas of underbrush, brier, and blueberry inform the nose of this concentrated, savory, spicy red that is an excellent value for drinking over the next 3-4 years.

2009 - 87 POINTS STEPHEN TANZER

Youthful purple. Primary blackberry and blueberry aromas are complemented by notes of black pepper and violet. Juicy if a bit jammy, offering simple dark fruit flavors and showing no rough edges. Finishes with lingering sweetness and good fruitiness.

The 2008 La Aldea is fermented with native yeasts and aged in barrel for 3 months. Dark ruby red with an alluring nose of spice box, underbrush, brier, blueberry, and black cherry, on the palate it displays layered ripe fruit, a bit of structure, good balance, and moderate length. Drink this friendly offering over the next 4 years.
